FARM LIFE

We love our dogs. Every Sunday morning we meet at the Farm and catch up on what's going on; the dogs are always a part of this. There can be as many as ten dogs at the Farm at one time. With a lot of coaching, wrestling, and biscuit bribes, Jill managed to get this shot. This picture appeared in an edition of Country Living. R-L: Aja, Zack, T.D., Bernie, and Smoke.

Won't someone hook onto me? Our old New Idea rake seems to be longing for some work to do in this pic. Jill is getting artsy on us.

The 460 put to bed at the end of a long day.

Harvesting soybeans with the 460 in September of 1998. The combine is a John Deere #30 and was all the 460 wanted on the hills. This combine was on the way to the junkyard and Dad got it for nothing. It was in such good condition, however, that Dad gave the owner 50 bucks out of guilt.

Our tractor lineup in 1996. From left to right is the 460, Super M, M (sold in 1998), H, F-20, and the Regular. We really need to have an updated lineup shot taken, but we seldom have them all running at the same time!
